Job description
Women of Reform Judaism (WRJ), the women's affiliate of the Union for Reform Judaism, strengthens the voices of women and empowers them to create caring communities, nurture congregational life, and advance social justice. The WRJ Advancement Associate helps strengthen WRJ's fundraising and donor engagement through campaigns, donor stewardship, communications, and development operations — a strong fit for someone who enjoys both relationship-building and detail-oriented work. Responsibilities: • Support the planning and execution of WRJ's annual fundraising campaigns and initiatives, including the YES Fund • Coordinate campaign timelines, materials, communications, and fundraising activities • Support donor relationships through personalized outreach, stewardship, acknowledgments, and recognition • Maintain accurate donor and prospect records in WRJ's donor database, and generate reports to monitor progress and trends • Coordinate gift and pledge tracking, financial reconciliation, and documentation for audit preparation • Maintain development systems, calendars, records, and workflows, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency Qualifications: • 1-3 years of relevant experience in fundraising, development, donor relations, nonprofit operations, communications, or data management • Experience with a CRM or donor database preferred • Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to adapt messages for different audiences • Comfort working with databases, spreadsheets, and systems, and using information to support decision-making • Experience in a nonprofit, membership, volunteer-led, or Jewish communal organization helpful but not required • Comfortable working in a remote environment; occasional travel to WRJ and Reform Movement events Salary: $60,000 plus a competitive benefits package.
