Controller

Description:
Our client is a growing insurance organization seeking a hands-on Controller to oversee core financial operations in a high-volume, data-driven environment. This is an in-office leadership role supporting executive decision-making and managing a collaborative accounting team.

Responsibilities:
* Oversee financial reporting, monthly close, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
* Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll oversight, and commission reconciliations
* Lead compliance, audits, internal controls, and credit card reconciliations
* Supervise direct reports and collaborate closely with the Florida-based team
* Provide financial insights and support strategic business decisions

Qualifications:
* 3–5+ years of Controller or senior accounting experience
* Strong bookkeeping, reconciliation, and financial reporting skills
* Experience working with high-volume data and commission reconciliations preferred
* Insurance experience required; health insurance experience is a strong plus
