Billing Representative – Mental Health Clinic

A local mental health clinic In Crown Heights is looking for a Billing Representative to support its day-to-day billing and documentation. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare or medical billing and will be responsible for reviewing clinical documentation for billing readiness, verifying insurance eligibility and authorizations, maintaining client balances, monitoring unbilled services, and coordinating with the clinic’s external billing company. 

Candidates should be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with EHR and billing systems. Experience with behavioral health billing, Medicaid, OMH, Article 31, MHOTRS, or New York State healthcare billing is preferred.
