What You'll Be Doing
The Alternative Investment Client Service Specialist II is responsible for supporting Stifel's Alternative Investment business through superior product support to advisors and fund partners. This includes; (1) interacting with internal and external sales teams, Fund managers /administrators, and technology providers, (2) training new staff members, (3) leading highly complex projects, (4) identifying gaps in current process/procedures and developing innovative solutions, (5) managing the Alternative Investments technology platform relationship, and (6) managing the Alternative Investments compensation process/procedure between external and internal parties.

What We're Looking For
• Represent Alternative Investments for all projects. Collaborate with various internal departments and external parties on various initiatives.
• Responsible for managing the monthly/ quarterly commission payment process for the financial advisors. Work with the various Fund managers/administrators to reconcile and invoice payments to Stifel.
• Responsible for the creation and management of a Compensation unit that is required to manage the increasing fund volume.
• Manage the technology relationship with various vendors and collaborate with them on the development and implementation on new technology initiatives.
• Constantly reviewing the current process and procedures to identify inefficiencies. Identify and provide potential solutions to improve the process.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with fund partners and key stakeholders to assist or enhance the client experience
• Responsible for training staff members on all aspects of the job.
• Process alternative investment transactions in Stifel's alternative investment order and fulfillment tool by conducing eligibility and document reviews
• Assist fund partners and their administrators in remediation of any outstanding items related to client orders
• Assist in reconciliation efforts during fund closings by interfacing with fund partners and Operations teams to support transaction booking efforts

Education & Experience
• Minimum Required: Bachelor's degree, with a strong record of achievement
• Minimum Required: 3+ years' of client service experience required

Systems & Technology
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
