Job description

Key Responsibilities
Development
Draft and submit grant proposals, reports, and other development materials as directed.
Assist with board reports and supplementary materials.
Maintain and update development collateral, including brochures, email templates, one-pagers, and newsletters.
Assist with planning and staffing board meetings, workshops, fundraisers, and other development-related events.
Maintain and update contact lists for donors and prospective supporters.
Draft donor thank-you notes, acknowledgments, and other communications.
Maintain accurate records of donors, prospective donors, and grants, including proposals, communications, gift acknowledgments, grant compliance, and payments.
Research potential funders and develop strategy and approach for engaging.
Communications
Update and execute the annual communication and outreach plan, calendar, and budget to drive and increase applications to our programs.
Draft, edit, design, and distribute communications materials, including email campaigns, social media posts, posters, flyers, newsletters, and other collateral.
Track and report on website traffic, email engagement, social media interactions, and advertising performance.
Recommend adjustments to content and messaging based on performance data, within the existing outreach strategy.
Coordinate with and support communications-related consultants and contractors, including graphic designers and videographers.
Maintain an organized photo and video archive.
Provide communications and conference support, including tabling, materials preparation, shipping, and remote assistance.
Utilize social media assets to enhance Israel Institute’s presence and market for various programs and initiatives.

Other Responsibilities

Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree.
Superior writing and editing skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Familiarity with email marketing, social media, and digital communications tools.
