Job description
Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of multi-state and provincial payroll, ensuring compliance with all payroll laws, and completing quarterly and annual payroll tax reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure accurate and timely end-to-end payroll processing for all assigned legal entities.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, province and local payroll laws and regulations.
Review and reconcile payroll data, including timekeeping.
Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to resolve payroll discrepancies and issues.
Assist with payroll audits and respond to inquiries from employees, management, and external agencies.
Perform quarterly and annual payroll tax reconciliations.
Prepare and Support year-end payroll processing.
Support the implementation and testing of payroll system upgrades and enhancements.
Complete payroll-related analysis and reporting as assigned
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
Relevant Associate’s degree or 3+ years of relevant experience
Strong knowledge of payroll systems, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
Proficiency with payroll software
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with multi-state payroll processing.
Familiarity with benefits administration and timekeeping systems.
International payroll experience a plus.
