Position Summary

The Director of Quality, Integrity & Oversight provides agency-wide leadership for quality assurance, audit readiness, and internal oversight functions within the Planning & Evaluation Department.

This role is responsible for building and managing a coordinated framework for program reviews, internal audits, corrective action processes, and external audit response. The Director works in close partnership with organizational leadership to strengthen accountability, reduce risk, and ensure alignment with regulatory, contractual, and internal quality standards.

This position plays a central role in creating consistent systems, strengthening internal controls, and embedding sustainable oversight infrastructure across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of an agency-wide quality assurance and oversight framework
Oversee internal audits, program reviews, and monitoring activities across programs and service lines
Ensure documentation, service delivery, and reporting align with regulatory, contractual, and internal standards
Establish consistent tools, protocols, and review processes for oversight activities
Coordinate preparation and response for external audits, monitoring visits, and regulatory reviews
Lead audit readiness planning and documentation controls
Track findings, recommendations, and corrective actions through resolution
Oversee internal case review and incident response coordination processes
Support investigation-related functions through structured intake, documentation review, and response tracking
Partner with program leadership to translate findings into operational improvements
Monitor trends, risks, and systemic issues to inform leadership decision-making
Embed continuous improvement practices across programs
Collaborate with Data Management leadership to align oversight with performance and outcome data
Lead and supervise the oversight team, including staffing structure, performance expectations, and professional development

Qualifications
Master’s degree preferred in public administration, social work, public health, health administration, policy, or related field
5–7+ years of experience in quality assurance, compliance, audit, program oversight, or governance functions
Experience in nonprofit, healthcare, behavioral health, or human services environments
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, contracts, and funding requirements
Strong leadership, systems thinking, and organizational design skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving capacity
Demonstrated experience managing teams and cross-functional initiatives
