Job description

​Location: Tel Aviv (Full-time, in-office role; requires flexibility and occasional availability outside regular hours or on Fridays according to exhibitions, productions, and events)

​A leading and successful art studio operating locally and internationally is seeking a Studio Manager for a central, dynamic, and hands-on role.
The position combines day-to-day business and operational management, financial administration, international project coordination, and studio team leadership.
​Main Responsibilities:
​Operational, Administrative & Financial Management: Oversee budgets, cash flow, invoices, payments, financial interfaces (bookkeeping/accounting), contracts, suppliers, and revenue tracking.
​Team Management & Execution: Coordinate the studio team, freelancers, and suppliers; set priorities, allocate tasks, and follow up through complete execution.
​Logistics & International Projects: Coordinate with museums, galleries, institutions, and clients in Israel and abroad; manage artwork inventory, storage, international shipping, customs, and insurance.
​Process Optimization: Improve work procedures and implement advanced digital tools to streamline studio operations.

 

Requirements:
​Technological Tools – Mandatory: Excellent command of Monday.com, Google Workspace, and Excel, alongside hands-on experience and solid knowledge of AI tools for work, research, and process optimization.
​Presence: Willingness to work full-time from the studio offices in Tel Aviv.
​Education: Bachelor’s degree – required. (Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or Finance – an advantage).
​Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a management, operations, or small-to-medium business/office management role with multi-tasking responsibilities.
​People & Project Management: Experience managing employees, suppliers, or projects – required. Experience in an international environment – significant advantage.
​Personal Attributes: Strong business and financial orientation, exceptional organizational and prioritization skills, independence, precision, discretion, and sound judgment.
​Languages: Fluent Hebrew and English (both written and spoken) – required.
​Other: Valid driver’s license – required.
​(Previous experience in the art world, galleries, or cultural institutions is an advantage).
