Associate Attorney Position Overview

A boutique commercial real estate law firm in the Monsey, NY area is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join its growing practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who has a strong interest in transactional commercial real estate law and wants to develop their skills within a focused and professional legal environment.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, attentive to detail, and possesses strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with transactional commercial real estate matters.
• Draft, review, and revise legal documents and agreements.
• Conduct legal research related to commercial real estate transactions.
• Prepare correspondence, memoranda, and other legal materials.
• Review transaction documents for accuracy, completeness, and legal issues.
• Assist with due diligence and document organization.
• Support attorneys throughout various stages of commercial real estate transactions.
• Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, and other parties involved in transactions.
• Maintain organized and accurate matter files and documentation.
• Track deadlines and ensure assigned matters move forward efficiently.
• Handle multiple matters and priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Assist with additional transactional legal matters as needed.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree required.
• Admission to practice law in New York, or eligibility to practice as required for the position.
• Strong interest in transactional commercial real estate law.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines simultaneously.
• Professional, dependable, and proactive.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
• Prior commercial real estate or transactional experience is a plus.
