Job description
A growing national home services company is seeking an experienced and hands-on Procurement Manager to lead its procurement operations, purchasing activities, and supplier network.
The Procurement Manager will be responsible for sourcing appliances, systems, equipment, replacement parts, and other materials needed to support service requests nationwide. This position will oversee the daily performance of the procurement team while developing strategies to reduce costs, improve purchasing efficiency, strengthen supplier relationships, and ensure timely fulfillment.
The ideal candidate combines strong procurement and vendor management experience with analytical skills, operational leadership, and a continuous-improvement mindset. This is a hands-on management position requiring someone who can effectively oversee both the strategic and day-to-day aspects of a high-volume procurement operation.
Key Responsibilities Procurement & Supplier Management- Lead the Procurement Department and ensure purchasing activities align with company objectives, service standards, and budget requirements.
- Develop and execute procurement strategies focused on cost savings, supplier performance, fulfillment speed, and operational efficiency.
- Source, evaluate, negotiate with, onboard, and manage suppliers across a national vendor network.
- Negotiate competitive pricing, purchasing terms, service levels, and other favorable supplier arrangements.
- Conduct regular supplier performance reviews.
- Evaluate suppliers based on pricing, reliability, delivery times, returns, order accuracy, and overall service.
- Identify opportunities to reduce purchasing costs and improve supplier terms.
- Expand and diversify the supplier network to strengthen sourcing capabilities.
- Manage escalated supplier, purchasing, and fulfillment issues.
- Oversee daily procurement activity, including purchasing queues, assignments, team workflows, and escalations.

- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, supply chain, vendor management, or a related operational role.
