Job description

Position Overview:

The Development Administrator will provide comprehensive support for national project management initiatives and executive functions within the Office of the Chief Development Officer (CDO). This role involves coordinating projects, managing schedules, and facilitating communication to ensure smooth operations and successful project delivery.

Essential Responsibilities:
Project Coordination:

Coordinate the national external speaker's bureau.
Serve as the clearinghouse for crowdfunding campaigns.
Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring various projects from start to finish, including staff conferences and other small gatherings.
Prepare project documentation, including reports, presentations, and meeting notes.
Facilitate communication among team members and stakeholders to address issues and track progress.

Executive Support:

Manage executive calendars, scheduling meetings and appointments.
Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations for executive review.
Organize travel arrangements and itineraries for the CDO.

Administrative Support:

Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Coordinate and arrange travel for the CDO as needed.
Assist in the preparation of meeting agendas and minutes.
Provide support in day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

The position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in project coordination and administrative support.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to successfully multitask.
Strong knowledge of project management tools, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Raiser’s Edge.
