What You'll Do

As a Systems Administrator II at Edmentum, you will support cloud infrastructure, identity services, and productivity platforms that keep our environment reliable and secure. You will contribute to AWS and GCP administration, Entra ID and Active Directory management, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace support, compliance efforts, and day-to-day operational excellence while participating in on-call rotation and handling escalations.

In this role you will:

Administer and support Edmentum’s cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP, including storage, rightsizing, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
Support identity and access management across Entra ID and AWS, including SSO, MFA, Enterprise Applications, and third-party SSO / user provisioning.
Administer Microsoft Active Directory (including Group Policy) and support Azure hybrid identity configuration and synchronization.
Perform Microsoft 365 user administration and support Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint Online; administer and support Google Workspace.
Manage devices with Microsoft Intune (including application packaging) and support Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
Serve as an escalation point for complex incidents and helpdesk issues; participate in on-call rotation.
Support SOC2 compliance, vulnerability remediation, and security monitoring in partnership with Security teams.
Work with operational platforms such as FreshService and collaborate with Enterprise Support on endpoint needs that intersect with security and compliance.
Look for opportunities to automate and improve processes that make the team more effective.

Who You Are

You have hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP cloud services and are comfortable administering and troubleshooting production environments.
You have working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD, Active Directory (Group Policy), and hybrid identity / directory synchronization.
You have experience with Microsoft 365 administration (user admin, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online) and Google Workspace administration.
You are familiar with SSO, MFA, Enterprise Application management, and third-party identity integrations.
Experience with Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint is a plus.
You are familiar with compliance and security concepts (SOC2, vulnerability management) and are willing to work with related platforms.
Experience using AI tools in day-to-day work, along with awareness of AI usage governance, responsible use policies, and related controls, is a plus.
You can handle escalations, participate in on-call, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
You are proficient with scripting or automation (PowerShell, Python, or similar) and look for ways to reduce manual work.
You bring integrity, adaptability, and a commitment to Edmentum’s mission and inclusive culture.
You bring deep, hands-on experience in 2-3 of the following: cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), identity & directory services (Entra ID/Active Directory), or productivity platform administration (Microsoft 365/Google Workspace) - with working familiarity across the rest and a willingness to grow into them.
You have an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience. Relevant Microsoft, AWS, or Google certifications are a plus. Experience with every tool in our stack is not required — strong fundamentals and a willingness to learn are.
