Job description

About the role

The ideal candidate pairs traditional motion craft with real production experience in generative and agentic workflows, and can work independently from a brief, prioritize across concurrent projects, and hold a deadline without the quality dropping. You'll set the bar by hand, then build the systems and automation that let the rest of the team get close to it without you.

This is a contract engagement, roughly three months to start, with room to extend or convert to full-time. You'll work closely with the Founder/CEO, the Creative team, and Product.

What you’ll do

Conceptualize, design, and animate for product launches, social content, campaigns, etc

Establish a tiered output model covering full launch films, a faster middle tier shipping several times a week, and screen-recording-level work, and make the call on which tier a given moment needs

Design and spec product motion, including onboarding, empty and loading states, agent and chat interactions, and transitions

Integrate AI tools and agentic workflows into production, including programmatic video, agent-driven editing, computer use for screen capture, and custom skills trained on our reference library

Apply advanced prompt and context engineering to get specific, repeatable, on-brand output from generative models

Help inform FLORA's motion system: timing, easing, type in motion, treatment of UI and generated output on screen, and use of sound

Stay current with generative model and tool releases, and bring the useful ones into team workflows

What you’ll bring

Motion design experience across brand film, product marketing, and social video. Years of experience is less important vs creative POV/craft

Hands-on experience using traditional, 3D, programmatic, and generative AI tools

Sound design and edit skills, plus color and grade skills

Strong command of animation fundamentals: timing, spacing, easing, composition, and typography

Ongoing AI skill development, including context engineering, agent orchestration, and building custom skills or workflows

Hands-on experience with FLORA, or a clear track record of getting deep on a new creative tool quickly

Nice to have: experience designing for creative tools, developer products, or other technically sophisticated software
