Job Description
Who we are

New Fortress Energy Inc. (NASDAQ: NFE) is one of the world’s leading downstream natural gas-to-power companies. We are a publicly traded, global energy infrastructure company, and a recognized leader in accelerating the world's transition to cleaner energy.

We develop, finance, and operate natural gas facilities, power plants and logistics solutions to rapidly deliver fully integrated, turnkey energy solutions to our customers. Our energy solutions spur economic growth, enhance environmental stewardship, and transform local industries and communities.

Our world-class team has expertise across power, infrastructure, transportation, logistics and LNG, and we have developed a proven track record building and operating liquefaction facilities, onshore and offshore regasification terminals, pipelines, power plants, and innovative LNG delivery solutions.

We believe that everyone should have access to affordable, cleaner energy. However, billions of people around the planet still lack this critical element for quality of life and economic growth. We are driven by our vision of a world in which electricity is no longer a luxury good, and we are looking for talented, driven individuals to help us light the world with cleaner, more affordable energy solutions.

Responsibilities
What you will do:

Serve as the primary system owner and administrator for Oracle Fusion ERP (GL and subledgers) and FCCS, managing configuration, security, workflows, metadata, and hierarchy maintenance.

Lead the monthly/quarterly close and consolidation process within FCCS, including intercompany eliminations, currency translation, ownership structures, and consolidated reporting.

Own Chart of Accounts governance and optimization – structure, segment design, mapping, and ongoing maintenance – to support accurate reporting and scalability as NFE grows and enters new markets.

Identify and lead process improvement initiatives across record-to-report and close cycles, driving automation, standardization, and reduction of manual workarounds.

Partner with IT and external consultants on Oracle quarterly releases, patches, upgrades, testing, and issue resolution.

Ensure financial systems design and access support SOX compliance, including maintenance of key controls, segregation of duties, user access reviews, and audit-ready documentation.

Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, and Treasury to translate business and reporting requirements into system solutions.

Develop and maintain system documentation, process narratives, and end-user training materials.

Support integration of financial systems with adjacent enterprise applications and reporting tools.

Mentor and provide direction to financial systems analysts as the team scales.

Qualifications
What you bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.

7+ years of experience in financial systems, accounting, or related roles, with hands-on experience administering Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and FCCS.

Demonstrated success leading financial systems process improvement and optimization initiatives.

Direct experience with Chart of Accounts design, restructuring, or optimization projects.

Strong understanding of close, consolidation, and financial reporting processes within a public company environment.

Working knowledge of SOX compliance requirements and IT general controls.

Excellent analytical, project management, and cross-functional communication skills.

CPA or relevant professional certification a plus.
