The Role - Senior Finance Business Partner – Central
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join our expanding global Finance team, directly supporting our central functions and stakeholders. The role will be based in New York, reporting to the VP, Corporate FP&A.
We are looking for a driven and ambitious finance professional, delivering insightful analysis to help drive accountability, understand performance, and drive investment decisions, efficiencies, profitability, and value. This role is a critical link between Finance and the business, working with C-Suite stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.
Main Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership & Stakeholder Management
Take ownership as a Senior Finance Business Partner to central functions and their respective senior leaders, including Marketing, Finance, IT, Facilities, People, and Legal.
Generally serve as a thought-partner to the company’s C-Suite and Corporate FP&A team, helping leaders understand the financial narrative for the company’s cost base.
Planning & Forecasting
Lead the budget and quarterly reforecast process for central functions, working with stakeholders to build and challenge appropriate forecasts.
Identify risks and opportunities, recommending mitigation and optimization actions.
Month End Review & Management Reporting
Collaborate with the financial accounting team and business stakeholders to reconcile and review monthly accruals and postings for accuracy.
Deliver monthly stakeholder management reporting, including financials, KPIs and commentary.
Support the consolidation of monthly financials, KPIs, and variance analyses across central functions as inputs to Board reporting.
Investment Governance & Value Realization
Drive financial rigor around business cases, scenario modelling, and post-investment tracking.
Support in ad-hoc requests, using finance and business area expertise to build financial models, challenge ideas, and provide relevant analysis to support key business decisions.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in commercial finance, FP&A, investment banking, or consulting.
Advanced financial modelling and Excel skills; proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle) and Business Intelligence tools.
Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and the confidence to constructively challenge business decisions.
Deeply organized and able to manage multiple priorities concurrently.
Curious, and restless about improving processes, communication & engagement.
Team player with a hands-on, down-to-earth attitude and approach.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred.
Knowledge of Workday ERP system, not required but beneficial.
Knowledge of Adaptive Planning financial planning system, not required but beneficial.
