As a Respiratory Therapist at Bronx Gardens Rehab and Nursing Center, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality respiratory care to our patients. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to join our team of healthcare experts.

About the Role:

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing respiratory care plans for patients with a variety of respiratory disorders. You will also work closely with our medical staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Your expertise and compassion will make a significant difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

Assess and evaluate patients' respiratory status and develop effective treatment plans to promote optimal respiratory function

Conduct inhaled and exhaled gas analysis, including spirometry, to diagnose and monitor respiratory diseases

Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and other respiratory medications as ordered by physicians

Perform routine respiratory care procedures, such as suctioning, and provide education to patients and families on respiratory care techniques

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care and treatment plans

Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and reduce readmissions
