Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Director of Admissions to lead our admissions team at Bronx Gardens Rehab and Nursing Center. As the cornerstone of our growing nursing home community, you will be responsible for guiding prospective residents and their families through the admission process, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring a warm and heartfelt welcome to our community.

Responsibilities:

Guide prospective residents and their families through the admission process with care and clarity

Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth transitions for new community members

Be the face and voice of our brand, embodying our values as Director of Admissions

Use data, feedback, and your personal touch to continuously improve the admissions experience

Ensure every admission feels like a warm, heartfelt welcome

Requirements:

Solid admissions or related experience—a must!

Blend professionalism with genuine warmth and empathy

Proactive mindset, always seeking ways to enhance the community's experience

At least 2 years of healthcare admissions or marketing experience

Long-term care experience

Knowledgeable in Medicare, third-party billing, and medical terminology

Communicates confidently with physicians and caregivers regarding clinical evaluations
