Production Supervisor

We are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to oversee the daily production and packaging operation and ensure everything runs safely, efficiently, and on time.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily production schedules, staffing, and employee performance.
• Ensure production is completed on time while maintaining quality and minimizing waste and downtime.
• Purchase and maintain proper inventory of packaging, ingredients, and production supplies.
• Make sure production equipment is operating properly and coordinate repairs and maintenance.
• Train, manage, and hold production employees accountable.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, SQF, FDA, OSHA, and food safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment.
• Work with Warehouse, Purchasing, Maintenance, Quality, and Sales to keep production moving.
• Identify problems and continuously improve production efficiency.
• Communicate production issues and delays to management and take ownership of resolving them.

Success in This Role

Production gets done on time, the team is properly staffed, materials are available, equipment stays running, quality and safety standards are met, and costs and waste are controlled.
