Salary: 150-180k

 

Position Overview

We are looking for a hands-on systems and automation specialist to improve how work gets done across a growing multi-company organization.

This person will identify manual, inefficient, or error-prone processes and turn them into better systems using AI, automation, integrations, and improved workflows.

One of the first major projects will be supporting the migration from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online, including data mapping, inventory setup, validation, and process automation.

This is not an accounting role or traditional IT support position. We need a technical problem solver who understands business processes and owns projects through completion.

Responsibilities

• Identify and automate manual workflows across finance and operations.
• Support QuickBooks Desktop to Online migrations, including data and inventory mapping.
• Connect, clean, and organize data across accounting, marketplace, shipping, and spreadsheet systems.
• Build automated reporting and recurring data workflows.
• Troubleshoot systems, integrations, and process failures.
• Own technical projects from request through implementation, including managing outside vendors when needed.

Must-Haves

• Strong technical problem-solving and systems aptitude.
• Experience with automation, integrations, system implementations, or migrations.
• Ability to map, clean, and move data between systems.
• Strong Excel and/or Google Sheets skills.
• Ability to independently own projects through execution.
• Enough accounting knowledge to understand financial workflows and data.

Strongly Preferred

• Experience building AI automations, agents, or workflows.
• QuickBooks Online or Desktop experience.
• ERP or accounting-system migration experience.
• Inventory or product-data mapping.
• Zapier, Make, Power Automate, n8n, APIs, or similar tools.
• E-commerce or multi-company experience.
