Responsibilities
About the role

The Credit Administrator provides critical support to the credit approval process by handling dealer and customer inquiries, reviewing application information, and completing credit verification and investigation activities for consumer and commercial clients. This role works closely with dealers and internal teams to ensure accurate documentation, timely issue resolution, and efficient credit processing.

The administrator also prepares credit-related reports, analyzes commercial exposure, and supports departmental initiatives and process improvements. This position requires strong attention to detail, customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

In this role you will:

Credit Support (80%) Attend to inbound calls, faxes and emails quickly and effectively.
Entering notes into the system and making outbound calls to assist dealers including gathering missing/corrected documentation related to application verification activities.
Complete credit investigations on Consumer and Commercial clients, including calculating GMF exposure on current clients.
Complete Multi-Asset templates on higher exposure Commercial applicants.
Work with consumer clients to satisfactorily clear consumer alert messages on credit bureau files.Reporting (10%) Complete credit department reports as assigned
Complete monthly commercial exposure reports
Other duties assigned, such as testing new programs, completing adhoc analysis, etc
Qualifications
What makes you an ideal candidate?

Excellent report writing and communication skills (written and verbal).
Bilingual not required, but would be an asset.
Interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
Good organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Ability to effectively multi-task in a fast paced environment
Proficient with Excel, and other Microsoft Office products
Possess analytical and decision-making skills.
Outstanding customer service skills.

Additional Knowledge and Skills

Working effectively within an AI enabled environment:

Ability to use AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to support daily work
Skills in evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias
Experience integrating AI into workflows to improve efficiency or insights
Familiarity with AI assisted research, summarization, and content generation
Understanding of responsible AI use, including ethics and data protection

Work Experience & Education

High school diploma required.
College degree preferred
Auto industry experience preferred
Experience in office environment preferred
