About the Assistant Manager Position
As an Assistant Manager, you'll support the Store Manager with the day-to-day operations of the location while developing the skills needed to become a future Mavis leader.
Responsibilities include:
Supporting efficient, safe, and effective store operations
Scheduling and coordinating Mechanics and Technicians
Managing outside orders and service workflow
Ensuring quality and timely completion of customer vehicles
Helping enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards
Supporting the team in delivering an excellent customer experience
About the Service Manager Position
As a Service Manager, you'll combine automotive knowledge, customer service, and sales skills to help customers make informed decisions about their vehicles while keeping the service operation running efficiently.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting customers with tire selections and automotive service needs
Recommending necessary undercar repairs and maintenance
Coordinating the workflow of Mechanics and Technicians
Staging and monitoring vehicle repair and maintenance work
Communicating repair recommendations and services clearly to customers
Supporting sales initiatives while delivering excellent customer service
Ensuring repairs and services are completed accurately and on time

Qualifications
To be eligible for an Automotive Assistant Manager or Service Manager position, you must:
Be at least 18 years of age
Be legally authorized to work in the United States
Have at least 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts or tire sales, automotive repair and maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Have strong customer service and communication skills
Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
