Turndown Attendant

Responsible for turn-down service, stocking of supplies and follow up on any late departure room. Assist lobby attendant on guest request and laundry department. To provide and maintain the highest possibly service standards to our clientele at all times. The employee may be expected to work in other areas of the hotel when needed to assist operations to perform job duties not necessarily contained in this job description.

Provide turndown service to required guest rooms in accordance with established standards
Provide turn-down service by turning down the bed, replenishing amenities, linens, and
supplies.
Provide ice to all rooms
Clean remaining unmade rooms per standards as directed.
May be required to refresh others and/or replenish supplies.
Assist Lobby Attendant in delivering guest requests
Serve as runner to guest rooms to deliver items as requested by the guests.
Assist Lobby Attendant in public areas as needed
Maintain work area, tools and equipment in a clean, organized and safe condition.
Report any service discrepancies to the appropriate manager or supervisor and resolve where possible.
Visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance and signify cleaning completion
Report any safety or security discrepancies to the appropriate manager or supervisor.
Assist AM attendants by stripping and making beds, changing bed linens, dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves.
Empty trash.
Sign for room keys and restock heavy cart.
Complete all other duties as assigned by supervisor to include cross training
Keep work area neat and organized

Qualifications
Strong customer service skills
Attention to detail
Able to exert up to 20 lbs of force occasionally and 10 lbs of force frequently
Able to work nights, weekends and holidays when business needs dictates.
Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
Able to work in fast paced, stressful environment.
