Financial Management Analyst

Duties

Reviews expenditures to ensure they are legal, proper, correct, within the local operating budget, and in accordance with the appropriate laws, regulations, and guidelines.
Performs special studies, analysis, and/or audits to identify accounting, budget, and manpower deficiencies.
Reviews transactions for accuracy and legal compliance in a financial database.
Drafts briefings to summarize financial issues and/or impact of policy changes.

Requirements

Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
This position requires travel up to approximately 10% of the time.
Employees assigned to the Real Property Services Field Office (RSFO) will require a Valid State Driver's License.
Financial Management (FM) Certification Requirement for each grade level - FM Certification Level 1 (GS-05/07) and FM Certification Level 2 (09/11).
