Job description
This role is responsible for growing our presence across franchise locations, both within and outside our preferred vendor agreements, by driving brand awareness and increasing market penetration. The primary objective is to secure new clients, grow our SaaS footprint, and exceed defined sales quotas. The Software Account Executive conducts greater than 50% of their work outside of their home office.
Meets with assigned leads in person to secure new SaaS clients by following established sales processes and employing a consultative approach. Provides tailored recommendations and solutions that address the client’s specific needs effectively.
Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with key stakeholders within the franchises.
Meets and exceeds sales quotas by driving brand awareness and generating leads through franchisee referrals, trade shows, associations, and by creating and leading webinars and formal presentations. Ensures customer satisfaction and retention throughout the sales process.
Executes all defined operational processes and requirements with excellence (e.g., designed cadences for client and prospect engagement, ongoing product and demo certifications, order entry requirements, centralized intake forms, etc.).
Participates in sales meetings, call calibrations, and training as needed.
Who We’re Looking For
Associate degree (or international equivalent) or equivalent experience, required
4+ years of related experience, required.
3+ years of experience in outbound sales, required.
For internal candidates, 1+ year of Sales Development experience required.
7+ years of related experience, preferred.
Experience in selling paid search, digital performance marketing preferred.
Experience in Enterprise-level sales, preferred
Strong industry knowledge with the ability to gain a thorough understanding of the Thryv product suite.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong emotional intelligence, adaptability, and experience building relationships.
Time and organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with competing schedules or conflicting demands.
Ability to work both virtually and in person, effectively conducting sales presentations to groups of all sizes while following company-established processes and procedures.
Proven track record of sales excellence.
Strong technical skills with proficiency in MS office and the ability to learn new programs and systems.
Driving between 50% and 75% of the time
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must successfully complete pre-employment screening process, as required.
Must successfully complete any required training or orientation courses, as needed.
