Job description

We are seeking a Product Sales Engineer (PSE) to drive the growth of Siemens Gridscale X NGM across the Americas. In this customer-facing role, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor, partnering with customers and sales teams to position solutions, lead complex multi-product engagements, and support successful deal execution. You will bring deep expertise in grid operations and planning, along with experience in software, cloud, and SaaS solution architectures.

As the technical lead throughout the sales cycle, you will help customers understand how Gridscale X NGM delivers business value by enabling the processes, workflows, and operational capabilities needed to manage and optimize modern power systems. You will translate customer challenges into solution strategies, lead technical evaluations and proofs of concept (POCs), and demonstrate how Siemens technology supports reliable, efficient, and scalable utility operations.

This is a remote role based in the contiguous U.S.

You’ll make an impact as you:

Key responsibilities

Providing technical leadership on large, complex, or high-value strategic deals.
Providing expert technical counsel to customers during sales cycles.
Building relationships with key industry collaborators and technical influencers.
Developing and delivering technical workshops and training sessions.
Handling technical objections and competitive positioning.
Providing structured feedback to Product Management on product gaps and improvements.
Supporting go-to-market initiatives and new product introductions.
Crafting multi-product demonstrations that reflect real-world customer scenarios.
Contributing reusable demo assets, scripts, and standard processes.
Leading complex Proofs of Concept, including integration scenarios and advanced use cases.
Mentoring and supporting junior PSEs in demos and POCs.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic qualifications:

10+ years of Energy domain experience and deep knowledge of relevant technologies, grid domain, and industry trends.
Strong critical thinking and business understanding.
Good knowledge of how RTOs, ISOs, and utilities plan and operate their networks. Familiarity with grid planning, power systems, EMS, DMS.
Ability to influence at senior customer and internal levels.
Strong leadership, collaboration and mentoring capabilities.
Advanced storytelling and value articulation skills.
Excellent presentation and technical communication skills.
Strong project and collaborator management skills.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, power systems, engineering, business, or other related fields.
Ability to travel 60% (domestic and international)
Must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
