Job description

As a Security Officer Bilingual Hospital Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Pay Rate: $18.26 / Hour

Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following healthcare facility protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points, check credentials as required, and assist with visitor direction and access-control procedures.
Document incidents, observations, and activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card/license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
