English Speaking Gan

Gan Shelanu in Katamonim is looking for a full time staff member to join our staff this year. The job is 5 days a week, include Friday. The job is approximately 35 hours a week, with two days starting at 7:30, three days at 8, three days until 4:15, one until 2, and Fridays until 12:15.

At Gan Shelanu all staff members work together to keep the gan running smoothly: sitting on the floor playing, art projects, washing kids hands and helping them in the bathroom, changing diapers, meal prep and clean-up, playing outside in all seasons. Gan Shelanu is a fun, busy environment. There is always something going on. There are quiet times and loud times and everything in between. As a staff we work together to keep gan running smoothly, and also to take care of each other (so we all get time to eat, hydrate, use the bathroom, take some time to rest during the day).

Staff members are required to complete two first aid courses (each a few days long) offered by MADA (or similar organizations) during the evening hours (courses are offered for free for staff members of licensed gans). Everyone working in a 0-3 gan is also required to either have a degree, or at some point complete a metapelet course (also free). We do not pay for the hours spent in these courses, but can work our schedule around attending these courses.
