About House120
House 120 is New York's first longevity lifestyle members club designed to provide all the resources needed to live longer, healthier, and more fulfilling lives. Through a curated community, advanced diagnostics, expert guidance, and personalized programming, House 120 is where performance, recovery, and holistic wellness are fully integrated to allow members to understand where they are today, define where they want to go, and provide the resources they need to get there.
Position Summary
The Porter plays an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, comfort, and day-to-day readiness of House120. This position is responsible for ensuring that member-facing and team spaces are consistently clean, organized, fully stocked, and welcoming. Porters are expected to combine strong housekeeping standards with warm, attentive hospitality and to respond quickly to the needs of members, guests, and teammates throughout the club.
Key Responsibilities
Club Cleanliness: Maintain exceptional cleanliness and organization throughout the club, including the lobby, locker rooms, restrooms, showers, fitness and training areas, recovery spaces, staff areas, and other shared spaces.
Housekeeping: Complete routine and deep-cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, wiping, disinfecting, and spot-cleaning surfaces, fixtures, floors, mirrors, and high-touch areas.
Locker Room & Amenity Readiness: Continuously monitor locker rooms, restrooms, and shower areas; replenish towels, toiletries, paper goods, and other member amenities before supplies run low.
Laundry & Linen: Support the collection, washing, drying, folding, organization, and distribution of towels and linens as needed to keep the club fully stocked and operating smoothly.
Member Experience: Acknowledge members and guests warmly, provide assistance when appropriate, and help create a polished, welcoming environment through proactive and discreet service.
Club Reset: Reset rooms and common areas throughout the day so that spaces remain organized, properly arranged, and ready for the next member, appointment, class, or event.
Waste & Recycling: Remove trash, recycling, and other waste promptly and in accordance with House120 procedures, maintaining sanitary and orderly back-of-house and member-facing spaces.
Maintenance Reporting: Identify spills, damage, equipment issues, supply shortages, safety hazards, or other facility concerns and promptly escalate them to the appropriate manager.
Event & Team Support: Assist with room setup, breakdown, deliveries, special events, member programming, and other operational needs as requested.
Safety & Standards: Follow all House120 cleaning, safety, security, and sanitation procedures and use cleaning products and equipment appropriately.
Team Collaboration: Partner closely with Hospitality, Operations, Concierge, Training, and other House120 teams to support a seamless member experience and overall club operations.
