The candidate should develop a comprehensive understanding of Neuberger’s broad private markets platform and serve as a subject matter expert on a wide range of strategies across private equity, private credit, and real assets, including their role in a diversified private markets allocation, risk/return profile, competitive landscape, current opportunity set and key differentiators.

Responsibilities:
Partner closely with Wealth Advisors and Relationship Managers to support fundraising efforts with a goal of increased saturation of private markets exposure across client portfolios
Develop holistic guidance for integrating private market strategies into client portfolios in alignment with the return objectives, risk tolerance, liquidity constraints and tax considerations of a wide range of client types (high net worth and ultra-high net worth, endowments, foundations and pension plans)
Leverage and maintain liquidity budgeting and commitment pacing models, including cash flow forecasting (contributions, distributions, NAV growth) to manage J-curve exposure and maintain target private markets allocation over multi-year commitment cycles.
Serve as subject matter expert across all relevant Neuberger private market-oriented strategies – buyouts, growth equity, secondaries, direct lending, real estate, etc.- including their risk/return drivers, vintage-year dynamics, current market positioning and emerging trends within the private markets landscape
Present to various client/prospect groups (HNW, intermediary, institutional, boards, consultants, etc.) in one-on-one and group settings. Candidate must be willing to travel as needed.
Drive advisor engagement through the creation of compelling client-facing and internal content (presentations, market updates, whitepapers, webinar materials, talking points, and training content)
Qualifications:

7-10+ years industry experience required in financial markets, investment research or wealth management
Strong understanding of both public and private markets, asset allocation and portfolio construction

Strong problem-solving skills along with attention to detail
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Commitment to collaboration and team work; willingness to volunteer ideas and create analytical work beyond what is asked
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Preqin, Pitchbook; working knowledge of current AI tools preferred
