Description
1. Professional Development & Cloud Engineering Growth (Primary Focus)
This role is designed as a formal cloud engineering development pathway.
The candidate will:
Work toward achieving at least one industry-recognized AWS certification aligned to TDG strategic workstreams, such as:
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
AWS Certified Solutions Architect
AWS Certified Machine Learning / AI Specialty
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (initial step if needed)
AWS FinOps-related certifications or cost-optimization tracks
Support TDG engineers in:
Proof-of-concept (PoC) development
Sandbox testing
Cloud environment experimentation
Technical documentation
Document their learning journey and technical progression to create a repeatable:
Cloud Engineer Development Blueprint
Training roadmap
Certification itinerary
Recommended tools, labs, and timelines
This blueprint will be used to enable and accelerate future TDG cloud engineers.
Gradually transition into hands-on cloud engineering responsibilities based on demonstrated readiness.
2. Project & Delivery Support
Attend client and internal project meetings as permitted by client.
Document meeting notes, action items, and follow-ups.
Track deliverables, risks, and dependencies.
Support project leads with delivery coordination.
Maintain organized project documentation repositories.
3. Internal Technical Operations & Engineering Coordination
Lead scheduling and coordination of engineering and technical meetings.
Develop and distribute meeting agendas.
Capture engineering discussions, decisions, issues, and risks.
Maintain records of architectural discussions and technical direction.
Help ensure engineering teams remain organized and aligned.
4. Process, Documentation & Organizational Development
Create, refine, and implement company processes, SOPs, and policies.
Support standardization across TDG DevSecOps and cloud workstreams.
Build and maintain internal knowledge repositories.
Document best practices, workflows, and operational procedures.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
5. AI-Powered Audio Visual Marketplace Support
TDG is developing an AI-powered Audio Visual Marketplace platform. The candidate will support this strategic initiative by:
Attending product, engineering, and strategy meetings.
Documenting product requirements, feature discussions, and decisions.
Maintaining requirement traceability and functional documentation.
Support the technical standup of the cloud environments for hosting the solution.
Supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) and feature validation.
Assisting with platform testing and documenting bugs, issues, and feedback.
Helping ensure platform functionality aligns with business and technical objectives.
This provides exposure to AI-enabled platforms, product development, and system design.
6. General Operations Support
Provide operational and administrative support across TDG initiatives.
Assist leadership and engineering teams as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned in support of TDG’s growth.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree (or pursuing) in:
Computer Science
Information Technology
Engineering
Business
or related field
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly motivated and eager to build a cloud engineering career
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong attention to detail
Preferred
Basic knowledge of AWS or cloud computing
Familiarity with Agile / Scrum environments
Exposure to DevSecOps concepts
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools
