Job Description
Supervise personnel in the physical installation, repair, maintenance, removal, replacement, testing, and inspection of overhead conductors, infrastructure, and associated equipment on the electrical distribution system. Ensure that work activities are performed in a safe, efficient, and reliable manner, and in accordance with established policies, procedures, engineering plans and specifications, and environmental rules and regulations.

Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
Ensure safety compliance by implementing and enforcing OSHA, DOT, and company safety standards while fostering a Zero Accident Culture.
Direct and monitor crews performing installation, maintenance, and repair of the overhead electric system.
Provide coverage for system emergencies and Incident Command System (ICS) events.
Utilize computer systems to schedule work, track progress, and close out jobs accurately.
Inspect completed work, identify deficiencies, and implement corrective actions to maintain high standards.
Maintain crew schedules, oversee training compliance, and ensure accurate time entry and documentation.
Encourage teamwork, celebrate success, and hold individuals accountable for performance and conduct.
Conduct On-the-Job Training (OJT), job briefings, and safety inspections, ensuring all personnel attend required training.
Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and company policies during all field operations.
Embrace new technologies, streamline processes, and support cost management initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications
Required Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of related work experience. or
Associate's Degree and 4 years of related work experience. or
High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of related work experience.

Relevant Work Experience
Proficiency in interpreting field-constructed drawings and layouts, with knowledge of overhead distribution systems and equipment, required.
Ability to supervise employees, manage productivity, and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), required.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft technologies, scheduling software, and familiarity with WMS software suite, required.
Demonstrated commitment to safety and compliance with environmental laws and regulations, including OSHA standards, required.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to effectively plan, budget, track work, and interpret computerized reports for operational decision-making, required.
Prior supervisory experience, preferred.

Licenses and Certifications
Driver's License Required

Additional Physical Demands
The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must wear all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including fireretardant clothing and a safety harness.
