Preschool Teacher

We are currently seeking staff for our infant, toddler and preschool classrooms.

Qualifications:

A desire to make a difference every day in the lives of children
CPR and First Aid Certified
Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role
Must be physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors
Must be able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity
High school diploma/GED (or equivalent) required, more advanced degree encouraged
Ability to build rapport with children.
Must be EEC Certified teacher

Responsibilities:

Maintain the health and safety of all children
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
Manage and teach students in a classroom setting
Foster positive relationships with children and parents
Participate in parent-teacher conferences to discuss children’s growth and development
Collaborate with classroom teachers on implementation of developmentally-appropriate curriculum and enrichment activities
