Reinsurance Broker

Overview

Gallagher Re is seeking an ambitious, analytical broking talent with experience in reinsurance or consulting. Gallagher Re has grown significantly in the past few years and is looking for dynamic brokers to join the team to help expand and deliver best in class support to our growing roster of accounts. This is a client-facing role in a team environment that involves new business production, product development and servicing existing clients.

How you'll make an impact

Act as a key member of the broking team partnering with actuaries and cat modelers to analyze insurance risks on a portfolio level to advise clients on reinsurance treaty structures to mitigate downside risk and improve capital efficiency. 
Prepare, transmit, market, and complete reinsurance placements.
Ensure company, market and client related documentation is issued (internally and externally) accurately and on time.
Coordinate internal resources, such as analytics, contracts and client services to provide solutions to clients.
Meet with senior managers of client companies to present materials.
Be a thought Leader: Conduct research on industry topics and develop content to be shared with Clients and Prospects, published in journals and/or presented at conferences and tradeshows. 
Each member of our Broking team will join at least one Product Vertical or Segment (i.e. Property, Casualty, Professional Liability, Surety, etc.). participating in the development of our global production strategy
Align with external and internal regulatory and statutory policies, procedures and regulations.

About You

Required:

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 3 years of prior relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
