What You'll Get To Do:
The Quote Analyst manages the end-to-end administration and analysis of customer quotations, pricing contracts, design registrations and ship and debits. The role partners with Sales, Product Management, Finance, Operations, and other stakeholders to deliver timely, accurate, competitive, and profitable pricing decisions while maintaining policy, approval, antitrust, audit, and customer-term compliance.
Pricing Analysis
This position develops price quotations using the standardized systems and supports quote, contract pricing, design registration, and ship and debit processes. It is responsible for analyzing and preparing quote proposals for new and prospective opportunities, ensuring accurate setup, validation, and maintenance of pricing information within Model N and related business systems.
Create or re-define pricing matrix using company guidelines and independent judgment. The Quote Analyst will be able to decide on an appropriate pricing strategy that will support the business opportunity while satisfying the fundamental business and compliance requirements. Evaluate, analyze and test reasonableness of evaluations of cost elements in each price proposal. It is common to receive incomplete opportunity information such as target pricing, and competition information on the Request for Quotes. The Quote Analyst will work with stakeholders to gather necessary information before proceeding with a price decision. Analyze post bid audit data to promote effective and strategic pricing solutions / decision. The Quote Analyst will review and evaluate previous quotation outcomes which will ultimately determine an appropriate cost for future quotes. This information is particularly important in determining market competitiveness. Evaluate and authorize special price discounts beyond first pass pricing to win opportunities while maximizing gross margins, avoiding cannibalization, and price erosion which can only be accomplished by utilizing market knowledge, relevant business data, post bid audit data, and familiarity of cost structure. Manage and maintain Model N pricing records, workflow approvals, quote documentation, and contract pricing data to support timely and accurate pricing execution across Sales, Product Management, and Operations departments.
Enforce Antitrust Laws and customer specific, PMD, and Sales guidelines in all price quotations by thoroughly evaluating each opportunity and quoting appropriately.
Product Support
Analyze Ship and Debit claims, including Model N claim and pricing data, to confirm validity and accuracy of all claims.
Investigate all aspects of Ship and Debit claims, reconcile supporting documentation in Model N and SAP as applicable, and provide all necessary documentation for collection
Provide detailed historical data such as compilation and analysis of statistical data utilizing SAP and POS report to aid Product Management Department in developing pricing strategies. The Quote Analyst will have constant involvement in all price activities through daily interaction with the Sales force in addition to in-depth knowledge of the quote activities which is valuable to the Product Management Department.
Identify and immediately notify PMD and Master Data team of all master data discrepancies in the systems.
Collaboration and Continuous Improvement
Service as subject matter expert with pricing knowledge, and collaborate with Sales Team, Product Management, Marketing and other departments in developing special pricing programs and improving current processes.
Maintain work instructions and knowledge materials; recommend automation and control improvements based on data, recurring issues, and user feedback.
Support user acceptance testing, regression testing, release validation, issue triage, training, documentation, and change adoption for system enhancements.

No direct reports, individual contributor.
Reports to: Quote Group Supervisor
EXTERNAL: Principal contact with customers (including Sales Reps and Customers) for price related requests and problem resolution
INTERNAL: Facilitates, communicates, and supports all sales efforts to satisfy customer requirements while maintaining company policy
Qualifications
What You'll Bring:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor degree in business administration, economics, supply chain or analytics is preferred. Equivalent experience in Sales and Product support may be considered.
Minimum 3 years experience in business analysis or administration, pricing, quoting, deal desk, contract administration, sales operations, revenue operations, commercial operations, or a comparable analytical role.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint) is required. Strong ability to operate PC-based business systems including SAP, Power BI, and Model N are preferred to accomplish specific duties listed above.
