Job description

Responsibilities
As a Assistant Chief Engineer you would be responsible for: Supports the chief Engineer in managing engineering operation, maintenance, personal, safety and technical compliance.
Supervise engineering operations and ensure equipment and systems operate safety and efficiently.
Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for Rooms, machinery, electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, generators. And other technical equipment.
Lead and supervise engineering staff, including assigning work, monitoring perforce, and providing training.
control engineering expenses and assist with budgeting, purchasing, and cost management.
Conduct safety inspection and ensure proper procedures such as Lockout/Tagout and permit to work are allowed.

Qualifications
To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

Relevant technical certifications or licenses depending on the industry and local regulation.
5-10 years of engineering or maintenance experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and building systems.
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
Ability to lead and supervise engineering staff and contractor
Good communication, leadership, problem solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to work shifts, weekends, or respond to emergencies, where required.
