The Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County is seeking a highly organized and mission-driven Jewish Education and Engagement Senior Program Associate to support the impactful work of the Jewish Education and Engagement Department, including the March of the Living Southern Region. This vital role supports the planning and execution of meaningful Holocaust education experiences, helping Jewish teens connect deeply to their heritage, the lessons of history, and the future of Jewish life.

The Jewish Education and Engagement Senior Program Associate works directly with staff, volunteers, participants, families, and community partners to ensure a seamless participant experience, from application and preparation to travel and beyond. Role and Impact

The Jewish Education and Engagement Senior Program Associate supports the successful planning, execution, and administration of the March of the Living Southern Region while also supporting year-round Jewish Education and Engagement initiatives. You will manage participant applications, support travel and program logistics, oversee administrative and payment processes, and communicate with participants and parents throughout the March of the Living experience.

You will also support pre-trip educational sessions, recruitment efforts, informational sessions, From March to Miriam, scholarship fundraising events, and Family Engagement programming. By keeping operations smooth and participants engaged, you’ll help shape powerful educational experiences that deepen Holocaust education, Jewish identity, and community connection.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative & Logistical Support

Manage the full application process for local and regional teen participants.
Support the coordination and execution of travel logistics related to the Poland and Israel program.
Manage data entry, participant tracking, invoicing, payment processing, and application support.
Maintain accurate participant information using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM systems.
Coordinate required documentation, deadlines, meetings, and travel-related requirements.
Work with vendors and community partners to support program logistics.

Program Support

Coordinate and implement logistics for pre-trip educational sessions to prepare participants for the March of the Living experience.
Assist with the planning and implementation of Jewish Education and Engagement Department programs.
Support year-round initiatives, including From March to Miriam and scholarship fundraising events.
Assist with Family Engagement programming as needed.
Support local recruitment efforts and help facilitate informational sessions for prospective participants.
Assist with additional programs, special projects, and departmental initiatives as assigned.

Communication & Community Engagement

Serve as a key point of contact for participants and parents regarding required documentation, upcoming meetings, events, and travel logistics.
Communicate clearly and consistently with participants, families, volunteers, and community partners.
Work closely with the Director to liaise with the International March of the Living, ensuring timely exchange of trip-related details and requirements.
Assist the Director with organizing and preparing materials for March of the Living committee meetings.
Collaborate within and across Federation departments to support successful programs and initiatives.

Thrive Here If You Have:

BA or BS in a related field
3+ years of experience working in the nonprofit sector, preferably with teens
An understanding of Jewish traditions and culture
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM data systems
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask
Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor
The ability to collaborate effectively within and across Federation departments
The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Experience planning events and working with multiple vendors and speakers
The ability to work independently
