What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor entry and exit points at a government location; verify identification, credentials, and authorization before permitting access in accordance with established procedures.
Maintain accurate access-related records, visitor logs, and incident documentation; communicate access concerns or unusual activity to appropriate site personnel and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify conditions requiring attention.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
CPR certification is preferred.
Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
