VP of Operations

Overview

A growing home medical equipment company in Monroe, NY is seeking a VP of Operations to oversee its day-to-day operations and ensure the business runs smoothly. The role will oversee the team, operational workflow, order processing, patient and facility communication, deliveries, and service issues. The ideal candidate is a strong manager who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable communicating with a range of stakeholders, and able to take ownership of daily operations.

Requirements

1. Strong managerial and leadership experience.
2. Excellent communication skills.
3. Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
4. Comfortable communicating with patients, facilities, doctors, and employees.
5. Comfortable using technology and learning user-friendly software independently.
6. Medical or healthcare industry experience is a major plus.
7. Knowledge of insurance reimbursement is a plus.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee the company’s daily operations.
2. Manage and oversee the team.
3. Ensure orders are processed properly.
4. Coordinate communication with facilities and patients.
5. Make sure deliveries are completed on time.
6. Ensure incoming operational and service issues are addressed.
7. Make sure phone calls and patient service needs are handled appropriately.
8. Maintain smooth day-to-day operations and reduce the owner’s involvement in routine matters.
