General Studies Teacher Assistant Position Overview

A school in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a dependable, patient, and enthusiastic General Studies Teacher Assistant to support classroom instruction and daily student activities.

The Teacher Assistant will work closely with the lead teacher to help maintain an organized and positive learning environment, provide students with academic support, and assist with day-to-day classroom responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the lead teacher with daily classroom instruction and activities.
  • Provide individual and small-group academic support to students.

  • Help maintain an organized, structured, and welcoming classroom environment.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience working with children or students preferred.
  • Previous classroom or teacher assistant experience is a plus.
