<div>Overview:Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) is an award-winning nonprofit, nonsectarian human services organization founded in 1943. Today, it has grown to be the largest provider of licensed outpatient community behavioral health services and one of the largest human service agencies in Westchester County. WJCS delivers innovative programs and services and compassionate care to more than 20,000 people of all ages and backgrounds throughout the county. We are currently seeking a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for our Hartsdale and Peekskill locations. This is a hybrid position, with two days in person and three days remote. The salary range for this full-time position is $175,000 - $180,000. Responsibilities:As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:<div style='margin:0in;font-size:13px;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;'><ul style="margin-bottom:0in;list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 10.399999999999999px;"><li style='margin: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: "Times New Roman", serif;'>Conduct 60–90-minute initial psychiatric evaluations and 30-minute follow-up visits.</li><li style='margin: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: "Times New Roman", serif;'>Assess patients' mental and physical status, based on the presenting symptoms and complaints.</li><li style='margin: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: "Times New Roman", serif;'>Diagnose psychiatric disorders and mental health and co-occurring conditions.</li><li style='margin: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: "Times New Roman", serif;'>Document patients' medical, substance use and psychological histories, physical assessment results, laboratory results, diagnoses, treatment plans, prescriptions, or outcomes.</li><li style='margin: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: "Times New Roman", serif;'>Educate patients and family members about mental health, co-occurring and medical conditions, preventive health measures, medications, or treatment plans.</li><li style='margin: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: "Times New Roman", serif;'>Prescribing psychotropic medications as allowed by state regulations and collaborative practice agreements.</li><li style='margin: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: "Times New Roman", serif;'>Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, peer support staff and nursing staff, to develop, implement, or evaluate treatment plans.</li><li style='margin: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: "Times New Roman", serif;'>Communicate with outside providers such as hospital, court, child welfare and school staff as appropriate and necessary.</li><li style='margin: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: "Times New Roman", serif;'>MSN or DNP with a psychiatric-mental and substance/co-ocurring health focus.</li><li style='margin: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: "Times New Roman", serif;'>Certification as a PMHNP-BC (Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – Board Certified). </li><li style='margin: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: "Times New Roman", serif;'>Ability to provide evidece-based, inclusive, patient-centered, trauma-informed and culturally humble care while respecting diverse backgrounds and beliefs.</li><li style='margin: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: "Times New Roman", serif;'>Skilled in explaining medical concepts in a clear, understandable manner for staff, patients and their families.</li><li style='margin: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: "Times New Roman", serif;'>Strong ability to evaluate symptoms, diagnose conditions, and determine appropriate treatment plans for patients of all ages.</li><li style='margin: 0in; font-size: 16px;
