Job description
Production Equipment Support:
Provide mechanical troubleshooting and repair support for presses, lamination lines, slitting equipment, and auxiliary systems
Maintain constant presence and response during production shifts to prevent downtime and backlog
Assist with electrical troubleshooting while continuing skills development
Preventive Maintenance:
Perform inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and component replacement per schedule
Identify repeat failures and communicate improvement recommendations
Non‑Routine Work & Projects:
Support installation, mechanical alignment, and commissioning of new equipment
Participate in projects involving compressors, utilities, and facility systems
Communication & Documentation:
Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage accurately
Coordinate with Production, Scheduling, and Maintenance leadership on equipment status
Safety & Compliance:
Perform work in compliance with OSHA requirements and lockout/tagout procedures
Maintain organized work areas and report unsafe conditions
Qualifications
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Mechanical aptitude in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring instruments
Willingness to learn and develop electrical troubleshooting skills
