Audit Services Manager

Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee audit, review, and compilation engagements for privately held companies.
Lead and mentor staff and senior accountants, fostering technical expertise and professional development.
Perform and review agreed-upon procedures and lead special projects, such as due diligence and acquisitions.
Evaluate internal controls, identifying risks and recommending improvements to accounting processes.
Ensure GAAP-compliant financial statements and high-quality service delivery.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
Travel to client sites as needed for fieldwork and client engagement.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
CPA certification (required).
Minimum of 5–7 years of public accounting audit experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and assurance standards.
Long-term care/skilled nursing audit experience is a plus but not required.
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Proficiency in standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office) and audit software.
New Jersey residency required.
