Job description

Our client is a family-owned, fast-growing footwear brand, primarily women's, with men's and kids' products as well. Amazon is their largest channel, alongside Walmart, Target Plus, TikTok Shop, and their own Shopify site. They are looking for an experienced Amazon Advertising Lead to take ownership of their Amazon advertising program, sharpen execution, and raise the bar across the entire program.

You will work with the company's overseas team, which handles basic day-to-day campaign management, as well as existing automation and reporting tools. You will report directly to the CRO, who works closely on the Amazon account, providing a direct line to decision-making.

Responsibilities:

Amazon advertising strategy and hands-on management across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands/Video, Sponsored Display/Video, and Sponsored TV
Amazon DSP, currently run with an outside agency, and AMC for measurement and audience building
Budget allocation between new product launches and established bestsellers
Campaign and portfolio structure
Keyword and competitive research
Bidding, placements, dayparting, negative keywords, and search term work
Target ACOS and TACOS by portfolio, product line, and individual style
Directing the day-to-day execution team, in-house and/or offshore
Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to leadership on performance and on the changes being made
Qualifications:

1 to 5 years of hands-on Amazon advertising experience, with closer to 5 preferred
Proven experience managing significant Amazon ad budgets, with the judgment to scale up spend
Deep working knowledge of the Amazon ecosystem, including how listings, rank, reviews, price, and inventory move advertising results
Comfortable being measured on TACOS, rank, and incremental sales, not only ACOS
Able to make budget decisions independently and explain the reasoning behind them
Agency background is welcome
Must be able to work on-site in the Midtown office 5 days a week
