Regulatory Compliance Manager
Position Overview:
The Regulatory Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring Rivers Casino Pittsburgh’s adherence to regulatory requirements, including Title 31, Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) laws, state regulations, and company policies. This role is critical in maintaining a high level of regulatory compliance across all departments and serves as a liaison with the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB).
Essential Job Functions:
Ensure compliance with Title 31, OFAC, AML, state regulations, and internal company policies and procedures.
Develop and maintain comprehensive Title 31 compliance procedures.
Train and develop team members to ensure they fully understand company operating procedures, internal controls, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Review and report Title 31 filings accurately and promptly.
Collaborate with operations management across all levels to support systems, reporting, and related needs.
Assist in drafting and submitting revisions to the Internal Control System as directed by the Director of Compliance and General Manager.
Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
Help plan, coordinate, and execute regulatory compliance activities to optimize support across departments with a focus on proactive measures to ensure compliance.
Serve as the primary contact and liaison with the PGCB, handling requests, responses, investigations, and communications, especially in the absence of the Director of Compliance.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
Bachelor’s degree required.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
Knowledge of auditing procedures and the ability to identify potential compliance issues.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present effectively to groups.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Ability to interpret complex documents such as internal controls and manuals.
Ability to follow instructions and procedures in written, verbal, or diagram form.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Willingness to travel and participate in training as required.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Ability to communicate effectively in English with team members and guests
Certifications:
Must be able to obtain a Pennsylvania G-2 License. Rivers Casino will assist in the application process and pays the fee associated with this license.
