About this team:

The Senior Director, Demand,, Canada, reporting to the Managing Director, Canada, will be in charge of defining the country's demand strategy, lead a high-performing sales team, deepen executive relationships across agencies, brands and DSPs, and drive sustainable revenue growth. This role combines strategic leadership, market influence, and hands-on commercial execution.

In this role you will:

Own Canada's demand strategy, commercial planning, revenue targets and business performance across agencies, brands and DSPs

Lead and develop a high-performing sales organization through disciplined execution, forecasting, pipeline management, coaching and accountability

Build executive relationships with Canada's largest buyers and position Magnite as a trusted strategic partner

Drive strategic growth by expanding existing partnerships and developing new demand opportunities across CTV, omnichannel, curated deals and emerging channels

Lead complex commercial negotiations and strategic enterprise partnerships

Partner cross-functionally with Supply Partnerships, Product, Operations and Marketing to influence strategy, accelerate product adoption and maximize customer outcomes

Represent Magnite as a senior leader within the Canadian advertising ecosystem through industry engagement and thought leadership

We’re looking for someone with:

10+ years of experience in programmatic advertising, digital media or advertising technology

5+ years leading enterprise sales teams with a track record of exceeding revenue targets

Established executive relationships across Canadian agencies, brands and DSPs

Experience building and leading high-performing sales organizations

Executive presence with exceptional communication, presentation and negotiation skills

Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive organizational alignment

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field; Master's degree preferred

The role, based in Toronto, has a base salary range of 150,000 – 170,000 CAD.
Actual compensation will be determined based on location, experience, skills, and internal equity. This role is also eligible for:

Annual performance-based bonus
