Job Overview:
The Cashier and Pickup Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Cashier and Pickup department to ensure customers receive efficient, accurate, and exceptional checkout experience. This role manages cashier staffing, training, performance, and compliance with company standards while maintaining smooth front end operations. The Cashier and Pickup Manager work closely with Store Operations to improve processes, enhance customer satisfaction, and achieve departmental goals.
Essential Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of all stations to ensure efficient customer service.
Manage, coach, and develop a team of cashier/pickup staff and supervisors.
Ensure all cashiers follow company policies and department procedures.
Monitor customer wait times and adjust staff to maintain service standards.
Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues when appropriate.
Coordinate staff coverage, breaks, lunches, and daily schedules.
Train new cashiers and provide ongoing coaching to improve performance.
Monitor Productivity, accuracy and customer service metrics.
Partner with Store Operations to implement new initiatives and improve the checkout experience.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional environment.
Communicate operation updates, procedural changes, and performance expectations to the team.
Review reports and provide feedback to staff regarding performance and opportunities for improvement.

Preferred Education, Experience and Licenses:

Previous management or supervisory experience in retail operations or customer service.
Experience managing high-volume cashier operations.

Physical Environment/Occupational Risks

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
Ability to work on Sundays.
