Job description
Bridge
What if working for a group practice actually prepared you to outgrow it?
Bridge is TG&A's signature professional-development program for eligible clinicians who want to understand the clinical, ethical, operational, financial, and leadership realities behind a successful private practice.
As psychologists, we are trained extensively in clinical thinking.
We are rarely taught how to build organizations.
Bridge changes that.
Eligible participants gain exposure to topics including:
Practice finances
Referral development
Risk management
Documentation
Clinical reputation
Insurance and credentialing
Practice systems
Hiring
Supervision
Leadership
Culture
Operations
Sustainable growth
The realities of practice ownership
This is not theoretical business education.
It is mentorship informed by nearly two decades of actually building and operating a group practice — as well as advising other owners trying to do the same.
Your Career Can Go in More Than One Direction
Psychologists bring a breadth of training that creates multiple possibilities.
Depending upon experience, interests, and organizational needs, opportunities may include:
Outpatient psychotherapy
Psychological assessment and testing
Diagnostic consultation
Clinical supervision
Mentoring developing clinicians
Program development
Specialty clinical services
Interdisciplinary collaboration
Leadership
House lead opportunities
Clinical education
Bridge
Practice-development education
Long-term mentorship
You may want to spend your career primarily providing treatment.
You may want to assess.
You may want to supervise.
You may want to build a specialty.
You may want to lead.
And perhaps someday you will want to build something of your own.
We do not view your growth as a threat.
We want to help prepare you for it.
The Infrastructure Is Already Here
You do not have to build every system yourself in order to practice with autonomy.
Our clinicians have access to:
Established referral flow
Billing
Scheduling
Credentialing
EHR infrastructure
Comfortable clinical offices
Clinical supplies
Administrative support
Medication management collaboration
Weekly diagnostic seminars
Interdisciplinary consultation
Professional development
An established regional reputation
Private-practice support without the private-practice chaos.
A Group Practice Should Not Require You to Think Small
We believe clinicians should be able to grow inside an organization without being expected to remain exactly where they started.
You may build a long-term career here.
You may become a supervisor or leader.
You may develop something that does not exist yet.
You may eventually decide that the next stage of your career belongs outside a group practice.
If that happens, we would rather you reach that decision with mentorship, business literacy, realistic expectations, and a clear understanding of what ownership actually requires.
That is the philosophy behind Bridge.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality outpatient psychotherapy services to children, adolescents, and/or adults based on areas of competency and interest.
Conduct psychological assessment and testing, when applicable to the psychologist’s training and role.
Complete timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate documentation and maintain professional and ethical standards of care.
Participate in diagnostic consultation, case consultation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and professional development activities.
Collaborate with medication-management providers, therapists, supervisors, and support staff to coordinate patient care.
Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, or consultation to developing clinicians when qualified and interested.
Qualifications
Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking licensed psychologists who are:
Clinically excellent
Ethical
Thoughtful
Dependable
Self-aware
Collaborative
Interested in continued professional growth
Open to mentorship
Interested in contributing beyond an individual caseload
If you want a place where you can practice, specialize, mentor, supervise, lead, learn, and continue determining what your professional life can become, we would like to meet you.
Compensation
$85,000 - $100.000 yearly
