IT Systems Administrator-Level 1 - Associate (0 - 5 Years)
Location: Coral Gables, Florida (Onsite)
Role Overview
The End-User Device Deployment Technician is responsible for the provisioning, configuration, deployment, and lifecycle management of end-user computing devices across the organization. This role ensures a superior end-user experience by delivering timely, accurate, and high-quality technology solutions aligned with enterprise standards. This position involves installing, configuring, and maintaining computing infrastructure and operating systems in support of business processes.
Key Responsibilities
Image, configure, and deploy laptops, workstations, iPads, monitors, and peripherals in accordance with organizational standards.
Track and maintain accurate asset records within the CMDB, including device assignments, transfers, and decommissions.
Provide hands-on technical assistance during device deployments, hardware refreshes, and new hire onboarding.
Perform pre- and post-deployment validation to confirm devices meet functional and compliance requirements.
Maintain an organized inventory of devices and accessories, coordinating with procurement and logistics as needed.
Create and maintain accurate deployment records, procedures, and knowledge base articles.
Identify opportunities to streamline deployment processes and improve end-user satisfaction.
Maintain, manage, inventory, and provision end-user devices and Starlink equipment during storm restoration efforts.
Required Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in end-user computing, desktop support, or IT field services.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with Windows OS, macOS, and iOS device management. Experience with MDM/UEM platforms (e.g., Intune, JAMF, or equivalent). A strong understanding of hardware components and peripheral connectivity is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's degree in IT or a related field.
Experience with ServiceNow or equivalent CMDB/ticketing platforms.
Familiarity with UPS Enterprise Shipping/Tracking and Management.
Knowledge of enterprise imaging and deployment tools.
Experience with Active Directory.
