Job description
Poo-sition Overview:
TUSHY is looking for a Creative Strategist to turn insight into scroll-stopping creative that sells bidets and much more. You'll own the creative that drives our paid channels—Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and Google—briefing, testing, and optimizing static and video assets that convert Real Pooping Humans. You live at the intersection of data and ideas: as energized by reading last week's CPA and hook-rate as you are by cracking the next big concept. You'll react fast to growth briefs, feed our internal and external creative teams sharp direction, and keep every asset unmistakably TUSHY.
The role encompasses performance creative while also shaping brand-level campaign concepts and stretching into full-funnel work—organic social, creator, and UGC creative direction—wherever great creative ideas move the conversation and brand forward.
You’ll be reporting directly to our Growth Lead with oversight from our Brand Lead too, making sure every concept creator, test, and asset ladders up to our business goals and brand voice.
This position is currently hybrid, with the expectation to be present at least 3 days a week in our Dumbo, Brooklyn (NY) office.
What You'll Doo:
Own TUSHY's paid creative strategy across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and Google—turn growth briefs into static and video concepts that convert.
Write sharp creative briefs tied to clear testing goals, then read the results and know exactly what to make next inclusive of persona-led marketing
Direct the creative team on high-quality static and full-funnel video, and champion the work that drives engagement, conversion, and measurable results.
Shape brand-level campaign concepts and stretch into full-funnel creative—organic social, creator, and UGC direction—keeping TUSHY's voice sharp across every surface.
Analyze creative performance and act on it fast—scale the winners, kill the losers, iterate on the rest.
Guard the brand so every asset stays on-voice, platform-native, and on-guidelines from concept through production.
Turn performance data into clear recommendations for Growth, Brand, and leadership—and stay ahead of platform features, formats, and cultural trends so we move first.
Qualifications:
5+ years in creative strategy, performance marketing, or growth—ideally at a startup or in-house studio that ships a high volume of creative and drives real results.
A proven track record of briefing and optimizing paid creative on Meta and TikTok (YouTube and CTV/Linear a plus).
A portfolio or reel that shows the work—especially creative that moved the numbers, not just the stuff that looked good.
Fluent in paid social and growth marketing—you understand what makes content convert, not just what looks good.
Analytical rigor—you can look at last week's numbers and know exactly what to make next.
Experience writing creative briefs and giving thoughtful, direct feedback that levels up the work.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across marketing, creative, and data partners.
Comfortable operating in an environment with evolving priorities, rapid launches, and bold bets.
Bonus: experience with humor-forward lifestyle or wellness brands, or a background directing creator/UGC content.
Passion for poop jokes is encouraged but not required (okay, actually—required).
Who You Are:
Idea-obsessed, data-driven: You chase the big concept and the winning metric with equal energy.
Builder-operator: You set the strategy and roll up your sleeves to make it real.
Revenue-minded: Every creative choice ladders up to results—you know what converts.
High-output, high-quality: Volume doesn't faze you, and neither does a tight feedback loop.
Culturally tuned-in: You stay ahead of trends and understand what makes content resonate online and IRL.
Collaborative to the core: You love being in the trenches with cross-functional partners.
Calm under pressure: You bring clarity and levity even when priorities shift or timelines are tight.
Self-directed: You own your numbers without needing hand-holding.
