Deep understanding of design fundamentals: typography, color, composition, and visual hierarchy.
You've figured out where AI actually helps in a design workflow and built process around it.
Comfortable working in both brand and production modes. You can think big picture and execute in the details.
Strong communication skills with the ability to both articulate design decisions and understand direction.
Self-directed and able to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
Collaborative spirit with the ability to incorporate feedback while maintaining creative vision.
What else will help you be successful.
Experience designing for technical or developer-focused brands.
Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design tools.
Comfortable using AI to build a working first draft of a page rather than handing off a static mockup.
Understanding of design systems and component-based thinking.
Enthusiasm for learning about databases, infrastructure, and developer tools.
